First things first, log in to your Updater account and head on over to the "Forward Your Mail" step to find out if your change of address form(s) have already been processed or not.
If your change of address form still shows a status of Pending, this means it has not yet been sent off to the USPS for processing. Click on the Cancel link to ensure your mail forwarding form does not get sent. If you click on Edit, you'll be able to update the name, USPS form type, start date and duration for mail forwarding. If you would like to make a change to your address, just reach out to our Customer Experience team and they will be happy to make any edits for you.
NOTE: If you are using a mobile device, you may have to scroll over to the right in order to see the Edit or Cancel buttons.
If your change of address form shows a status of Completed, this means that the USPS has already received your change of address form and we can no longer make changes or cancel on your behalf. You'll need to stop by your local post office and provide them with a photo ID for verification in order to make changes or cancel. Please keep in mind that if your change of address form was recently filed, it may take a few days for your local post office to receive your new address information. We'd recommend waiting a few days before heading over to ensure it's not a wasted trip.
