You’ll receive a few notifications along the way!
First, we’ll send an email confirmation verifying that we've received your mail forwarding request. Don't forget to verify your identity (if you haven't already) as we won't be able to file your USPS Change of Address Form without doing so. Not sure if you've verified your identity? Find out here.
You'll receive a second confirmation email once we've filed your change of address form with the USPS for processing. If you’re still living at your old address, the USPS will mail you a move validation letter once they have finished processing your request. If you’ve already moved, this letter won’t be sent.
Lastly, you’ll receive a USPS Confirmation Letter at your new address within 7-12 business days, which includes your USPS Confirmation Number. Make sure to keep this for your records as proof of your move. You’ll need this if you want to change your mail forwarding request at a later date.
